I would like to take the opportunity to thank you again for the very generous Stamford Dollars for Scholars Four Year Scholarship you awarded me this past Thursday night. I am still so overwhelmed with being one of the recipients of this prestigious award! It is very evident that you all have a passion for this organization and the opportunities you create for the students in the Stamford community to further their educations. I know you have many, many people who sponsor, support and volunteer for SD4S and I am grateful for their efforts.
I would also like to say how sorry I am that our Westhill Senior's Award Night was scheduled for the same night. Changing the order of your agenda for the evening to accommodate the students of Westhill was very gracious. I wish I had the opportunity to stay and be part of the entire evening.
I am excited to graduate next week and start my new adventure at Eckerd College in August. I look forward to making Stamford Dollars for Scholars proud of the faith you have put in me.
