This award is a one-year scholarship in the amount of $1,000.  Open to a student graduating from AITE and pursuing a degree in Engineering or Healthcare. The student must be planning to be a full-time student at an accredited 2 or 4 year college/university, vocational or technical school. Eligibility is based on a combination of need and academic performance, minimum graduating GPA of 3.0. Memorial Scholarship

This award is a one-year scholarship in the amount of $1,000.  Open to a student graduating from Stamford High School and pursuing a degree in Architecture, Industrial Arts/Design or Education, this scholarship honors the teaching legacy established by John Burkhardt at Stamford High School. The student must be planning to be a full-time student at an accredited 4 year college/university. Eligibility is based on a combination of need and academic performance, minimum graduating GPA of 2.5. The student is to demonstrate the ability to succeed with a specific focus on the goal of completing the course of study.

 

Felix F. Callari Scholarship

This award is a one-year scholarship in the amount of $2,000.  Open to a student graduating from a city of Stamford high school OR a Stamford resident graduating from an out of town high school.  The student must be planning to be a full-time student at an accredited 4 year  or 2 year college/university and pursuing a degree in automotive or mechanical engineering. Eligibility is based on a combination of need and academic performance, minimum graduating GPA of 3.8. The student is to demonstrate the ability to succeed with a specific focus on the goal of completing the course of study.

 

Connecticut Business Systems Scholarship 

This award is a one-year scholarship in the amount of $1,000.  Open to a student graduating from a city of Stamford high school OR a Stamford resident graduating from an out of town high school.  US citizenship is required. The student must be planning to be a full-time student at an accredited 4 year college/university. Eligibility is based on a combination of need and academic performance, minimum graduating GPA of 3.0. The student is to demonstrate the ability to succeed with a specific focus on the goal of completing the course of study.

 

Cook Group Solutions Scholarship 

This award is a renewable scholarship in the amount up to $4,000 ($1,000 per academic year).  Open to a student graduating from a city of Stamford high school OR a Stamford resident graduating from an out of town high school. Student must be a US citizen, Resident Alien, or Permanent Resident. The student must be planning to be a full-time student at an accredited 4 year college/university and pursuing a STEM degree. Eligibility is based on a combination of need and academic performance, minimum graduating GPA of 2.8 and a continuing college GPA of 2.8 or better. Renewable scholarships require students to maintain eligibility.

 

D'Amelio Network Performing Arts Scholarship 

This award is a one-year scholarship in the amount of $1,000.  Open to a student graduating from a city of Stamford high school OR a Stamford resident graduating from an out of town high school. The student must be planning to be a full-time student at an accredited 2 or 4 year institution. The student should be pursuing a degree in the performing arts (music, dance, theater).

This is a one-year scholarship in the amount of $1,000Open to a student graduating from a city of Stamford high school OR a Stamford resident graduating from an out of town high school. Student must be a US citizen, Resident Alien, or Permanent Resident. The student must be planning to be a full-time student at an accredited 2 or 4 year college/university, vocational or technical school. It is awarded to a student who will be pursuing a horticulture/landscape (turf may be considered) related degree program. Eligibility is based on a combination of need and academic performance, a minimum graduating GPA of 3.0. The student is to demonstrate the ability to succeed with a specific focus on the goal of completing the course of study.

This award is a renewable scholarship in the amount up to $2,000 ($1,000 in year 1 , $1,000 in year 2). Open to a student graduating from a city of Stamford high school OR a Stamford resident graduating from an out of town high school. The student must be planning to be a full-time student at an accredited 2 year or 4 year college/university, vocational or technical school. A letter of recommendation from a teacher is required, as well as an essay demonstrating commitment, career goals and details of community service. Eligibility is based on a academic performance, minimum graduating GPA of 3.0. Additional consideration will be given to candidates of Indian sub-continent origin. Student will be asked to attend the GOPIO annual gala in June 2017 to be honored at the event, and volunteer in a GOPIO community activity sometime during the term of their award (based on availability, to be arranged directly with GOPIO-CT). Renewable scholarships require students to maintain eligibility.

 

Nancy J. Heron Memorial Scholarship

This award is a one-year scholarship in the amount of $1,500.  Open to any student graduating from a city of Stamford public high school. US Citizenship is required. Preference given to a student having attended the Dolan Middle School where Nancy Heron served as Vice Principal. The student must be planning to be a full-time student at an accredited 2 or 4 year college/university. Eligibility is based on a combination of need and academic performance, minimum graduating GPA of 3.0. The student is to demonstrate the ability to succeed with a specific focus on the goal of completing the course of study.

This award is a one-year scholarship in the amount of $1,000.  Open to a student graduating from a city of Stamford high school OR a Stamford resident graduating from an out of town high school. The student must be planning to be a full-time student at an accredited vocational or technical school. This award is available to individuals seeking an education to begin a career in the trades, minimum GPA of 2.5. The student is to demonstrate the ability to succeed with a specific focus on the goal of completing the course of study.

This award is a one-year scholarship in the amount of $1,000.  Open to a student graduating from a city of Stamford high school OR a Stamford resident graduating from an out of town high school. Student must be a US citizen, Permanent Resident or DACA. The student must be planning to be a full-time student at an accredited 2 or 4 year college/university, vocational or technical school. Eligibility is based on a combination of need and academic performance, minimum graduating GPA of 3.0. This award is a renewable scholarship in the amount up to $2,000 ($1,000 in year 1, $1,000 in year 2).  Open to a female, minority student graduating from Stamford High School. The student must be planning to be a full-time student at an accredited 2 or 4 year college/university, vocational or technical school. Eligibility is based on academic performance, minimum graduating GPA ranked in the top 50% of her class. Two teacher recommendations are required and one paragraph description of career plans. The student is to demonstrate the ability to succeed with a specific focus on the goal of completing the course of study.

This award is a one-year scholarship in the amount of $1,000. Open to a student graduating from a city of Stamford high school OR a Stamford resident graduating from an out of town high school. The student must be planning to be a full-time student at an accredited 4 year college/university. Eligibility is based on academic performance. It is awarded to a student who will be pursuing a degree in Business or Economics. The student is to demonstrate the ability to succeed with a specific focus on the goal of completing the course of study.

Aspire Scholarship

This award is a renewable scholarship in the amount up to $10,000 ($1,000 in year 1, $2,000 in year 2, $3,000 in year 3, $4,000 in year 4). Open to a student graduating from a city of Stamford high school OR a Stamford resident graduating from an out of town high school. The Aspire Scholarship is co-funded by Scholarship America and Stamford Dollars for Scholars. It recognizes applicants with demonstrated leadership and/or service to others. The successful applicant will have overcome an obstacle in pursuit of their education. Financial need must be demonstrated. The student must be planning to be a full-time student at an accredited 4 year college/university. Eligibility is based on a combination of need and academic performance, minimum graduating GPA of 3.0. The Tarzia Group Scholarship

This award is a one-year scholarship in the amount of $1,000. Open to a student graduating from a city of Stamford high school OR a Stamford resident graduating from an out of town high school. Student must be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident or DACA. The student must be planning to be a full-time student at an accredited 4 year college/university. It is awarded to a student who will be pursuing a degree in Architecture; Mechanical or Civil Engineering with a primary or secondary green building focus OR a Green Renewable Energy course of study that's specific to: solar, geo-thermal, wind power, hydro-power, bio-energy and/or energy storage. Eligibility is based on a combination of need and academic performance, minimum graduating GPA of 3.0. The student is to demonstrate the ability to succeed with a specific focus on the goal of completing the course of study.

 

Karina Tinajero Memorial Scholarship

This is a renewable award in the amount of $2500 ($1,000 in year 1, $1,500 in year 2). Open to a student graduating from Stamford High School. The student must be planning to be a full-time student at an accredited  2 year or 4 year college/university. It is awarded to a high school English Language Learner (ELL).  Eligibility is based on a combination of need and academic performance. This award is a one-year scholarship in the amount of $2,000. This award is a renewable scholarship in the amount up to $4,000 ($1,000 per academic year UCONN Tuition Credit). The recipient must be planning to be a full-time student at any branch of the University of Connecticut.  Open to a student graduating from a city of Stamford high school OR a Stamford resident graduating from an out of town high school. Student must be a US Citizen, Resident Alien or Permanent Resident. This scholarship recognizes academic excellence in the area of Information Sciences or Management Information Systems or related Business Majors.The student must demonstrate involvement in community service. Eligibility is based on a combination of need and academic performance, minimum graduating GPA of 3.0. The student is to demonstrate the ability to succeed with a specific focus on the goal of completing the course of study.
